Anti-Ragging and Disciplinary Committee

INTRODUCTION:
The Anti-Ragging and Disciplinary Committee has been constituted vide Teachers’ Council Meeting Dated- 03.07.2015. The members the committee has been trying to make college campus free from ragging issues through the following ways.

Action Plan:
1. At the time of admission in 1st year/ Semester, the college provides two Anti-Ragging Forms. One is given to a student. And other one is given to the parents /guardians. The forms are mandatorily filled up by them.
2. Display of laws related to ragging activities in the key places of the campus.
3. The committee informs the names of the anti-ragging committee to the students and discusses the following punishments for the violation of anti-ragging rules at the time of the admission. These are as follows.
i. Suspension from attending classes and academic privileges
ii. Withholding/ withdrawing scholarship/fellowship and other benefits
iii. Debarring from appearing in any test/examination or other evaluation process
iv. Withholding results
v. Debarring from representing the institution in any regional, national or international meet, tournament, youth festival etc.
vi. Cancellation of admission
vii. Rustication from the college for period ranging from 1to 2 years/ semesters
viii. Fine ranging between Rs. 25000/- and Rs. 1 lakh
