1.    INTRODUCTION

The Right to Information Act 2005 seeks to put  out  a transparent  mechanism  of Right to Information for everyone. It allows them to get information about the public organizations and have an idea of public authority. The Right to Information Act, 2005 has been enacted through the Parliament and has come into practice  from  June, 2005. All Universities and Colleges come under the purview of this Act through Parliament or through State Legislature and their corresponding administrative bodies.

5.   RIGHT TO INFORMATION CELL

      Nakshalbari College has a RTI Cell to help the SPIO and FAA. This cell helps to maintain and update records as required by RTI Act 2005 particularly Section 4(1) (b) of the RTI Act 2005.
